Those rockin' monks
If you can't get enough of these Gregorian songs, I will post another song over at weheartmusic. For now you should just know that these are not actually being sung by monks (can't really see monks listening to iPods and chanting contemporary pop songs - although that would be funny to see).
These guys, I think there's just two of them, are from Germany, and they basically take modern pop songs and convert it to the Gregorian chanting sounds. I believe they spawned a wannabe copycat band called Gregorian Chants, which released an all-Beatles Gregorian style album.
I think there's a bunch of bootleg or copycat bands actually, it's all kind of vague and confusing, but for an official discography, you should check out the official website.
