Bettie Serveert Covers
In response to Gus' Bettie Serveert - "Hell = Other People" entry, I will show you four covers Bettie Serveert did.
They're no strangers to covers, especially more modern tunes such as "Get Me Away From Here, I'm Dying", originally by everybody's favorite indie group, Belle & Sebastian, as well as Bright Eyes' "Lover I Don't Have to Love".
They also released a full album based on the Velvet Underground/Nico's song and contributed to various folk/pop album such as the Carpenters' tribute album.
There's a few covers they did that I haven't heard, including Bob Dylan's "I'll Keep it with Mine", Boudewijn de Groot's "Drown Butterfly Drown", Joni Mitchell's "River", and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". If you know more, let me know upload the songs, I would love to hear them.
PS, for the longest time, I thought the lead singer was named Bettie, but in fact, her name is Carolyn.

[this is good] This has been my favorite band since I first saw their video for Tomboy on 120 Minutes in '92. I can help you with the songs you're looking for and also one of them covering The Beach Boys.
P.S.: Not to be a jerk and correct you but her name is Carol.
